As per All India Council for Technical Education has notified regulation for prevention and prohibition of ragging in AICTE approved technical Institutions vide No. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated 01.07.2009 on curbing the menace of ragging in the technical Institution, The Complaints regarding ragging if any from the Students /Parents / Staff/ Faculty should be directed to the “Anti-Ragging Committee”.

In order to ensure transparency by Technical Institutions imparting technical education, in admissions and with Paramount Objectives of preventing unfair practices and to provide a mechanism to students for redressal of their grievances, AICTE has notified regulation for establishment of mechanism for Grievance Redressal Committee and OMBUDSMAN for all the AICTE approved technical Institutions vide No. 37-3/Legal/2012 dated 25.05.2012.

To create awareness and provide guidance to academic and nonacademic staff, students, scholars, and outside agencies on the practices and the rules of institute regarding intellectual property rights and obligations within the frame work of the IPR policy of the institute.

Objectives:

To promote academic freedom and safeguard the interests of inventor in creation and commercialization of intellectual property with legal support wherever necessary. To create an environment for acquiring new knowledge through innovation, develop an attitude of prudent IP management practices and promote an IPR culture compatible with the educational mission of the institute.
